Busy Times

Aswell as working for KEY 103 covering all live Manchester united games Ive been busy turning out in a few pro celebrity games recently - the brain is still willing and the legs are doing ok too - "well I am 53 ref and I got there as quickly as I could " is a line I seem to be using quite a lot!!

My Book is selling well and although Im quite busy on the after dinner circuit, I still get a buzz out of it - you can contact my agent, Andy, via the website to check my availability for any engagements you may be considering.

Im also working on helping some young aspiring players with career advice because lets face it - if there was a wrong turn to take, i definetly took it ! Hopefully I can help steer some future premiership stars on the right course

An Oasis in Glasgow

I had the pleasure of bumping into Liam Gallagher in my hotel, the morning of our game at Parkhead. Hes a top bloke, a true blue but a real gent. Apparently he was telling my good mate Robbo how much richer City are than United in the bar the night before only to be asked who it is that are both Premiership and European Champions !!

Im also made up for joe Calzaghe - hes a truly great fighter and a good mate of mine ( at least thats what he said on his radio interview for the BBC !! - Well done Joe

Where's my car???

Well it's been an interesting few weeks to the start the season so far, topped by "losing" my car outside Anfield – they do say there's no such thing as bad press and I got a lot of press for this!!

I honestly thought it had been stolen until Merseyside police called me to tell me that they had found the car, with no damage and  in fact no more miles on the clock than when I left it??? Having come out of the ground I had checked the street where I thought it was and the next one too before fearing the worse – I guess I should have checked the third street as it would have saved on the taxi fare back home in North Wales!!
